Randy Eresman

President & Chief Executive Officer

Randy heads one of North America’s leading energy producers.

He joined one of Encana’s predecessor companies in 1980. In 2002 Randy was named Encana’s Chief Operating Officer and became President & Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2006.

Randy received his technical education from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton and the University of Wyoming, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering.

Randy is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta; the World Presidents’ Organization; and the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. He was born and raised in the Medicine Hat area of southeastern Alberta. Randy and his wife Shelly have two children.
