Students

Get real work experience in your chosen field by applying to one of our student opportunities. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada by Canadian Citizenship, landed immigrant or permanent residency status, and be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution.

We hire students for four-month work terms beginning in May, but we can accommodate scheduling based on individual need.

Engineers

Engineering students join us after their second year of university for a work term in the field. Top performers may receive returning offers for an engineering office position for their next work term, typically beginning in May at our Calgary office. Eight- and 12-month terms have been approved on an exception basis.

Job postings and recruitment for field positions begin in September. We typically don't post engineering office positions as students are chosen from our pool of previous field students.

Geologists

We recruit third and fourth year undergraduates, and first and second year Master's students in Geology for four-month work terms in our Calgary office. Preference is given to those students who have completed (at minimum) a sedimentary geology course, a stratigraphy course and a structural geology course.

Geophysicists

We recruit third and fourth year undergraduates, and first and second year Master's students in Geophysics for four-month work terms in our Calgary office. Preference is given to those students who have completed (at minimum) a sedimentary geology course, a stratigraphy course and a course related to seismic interpretation.

Business

Accounting students will join us following their third year for work terms in our Calgary office. Job postings and recruitment for these positions begin in September.

All other business positions will be posted beginning in September and continue through to April.

Land

We recruit third year land students for work terms in the office. Preference is given to those students pursuing their Petroleum Land Management degree.

Non-Technical

Each year we recruit a wide range of non-technical student roles. These roles are usually located in our Calgary office.
