A Dartmouth, NS native, David obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physics from Mount Allison University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Dalhousie University.
As a member of our subsea team, David assisted with the subsea export pipeline along with the wellhead trees, flowlines and umbilicals which link the wells to the Production Field Centre (PFC). He worked with Encana's export pipe laying contractor, Allseas, in their Houston office where he learned the technical aspects of pipeline design and installation and had an opportunity to visit Allseas' head engineering offices in Delft, The Netherlands. David also traveled to Aberdeen, Scotland with a team from Encana to perform testing on the subsea tree structures. During the summers of 2009, 2010 and 2011, David worked offshore during pipeline/flowline installation and subsea hook-up for Deep Panuke.
Building on his experience with Deep Panuke, David is now working as a subsea installation engineer on the White Rose development with Husky Energy in St. John's, NL.
