Providing stakeholders with detailed information on our environmental, social and governance performance.
Located south of Pinedale, Wyoming, the Jonah Field is one of our key resource plays. In 2011 we drilled approximately 71 net wells in the Jonah field which produce on average 471 million cubic feet equivalent per day of natural gas.
We have begun the Environmental Impact Study for a potential new natural gas development project in southwest Wyoming called the Normally Pressured Lance (NPL) area. As our drilling activity in the Jonah field is expected to wind down between 2013 and 2016 it makes good business sense to shift the existing workforce and equipment to the neighboring NPL area.
Please visit the NPL project page for more information.
We contribute to the strength and sustainability of the communities in which our employees live and work. We believe by partnering with local community organizations and other non-profit groups we have the opportunity to positively shape the future of these communities. Our Community Investment program is focused in five areas: sciences, trades and technology, family and community wellness, environment, sports and recreation and community enhancement. Our support in the Jonah Field includes:
