Our marketing team monitors North American natural gas supply and demand fundamentals that drive price forecasts and sales strategies. Directed from our Calgary and Denver offices, our marketing activity is targeted to large industrial users, local distribution companies, wholesale customers and commodity purchasers. We do not provide energy services of any kind to other third-party entities or make sales in the retail energy market.

Working directly with our exploration and production teams (upstream), EnCana Gas Marketing provides commercial, operational and analytical marketing expertise in order to:

• Ensure there are no restrictions on the flow of gas.
• Monetize the commodity and optimize the assets, to achieve the highest long-term value for the company.
• Develop a strong understanding of the market fundamentals to manage the risks and opportunities associated with producing gas from a particular region.
