At our Bighorn operation in west-central Alberta, we focus primarily on sweet gas wells that span about 603,000 net acres of land. The primary producing properties in this resource play are Wild River, Resthaven, Kakwa, Berland and Aurora. Natural gas from these properties is produced through five gas plants in the area at Kakwa, Resthaven, Wild River, Edson and Carrot Creek.
The average well depth in our Bighorn play is 3,000 meters, produced from deep basin Cretaceous sands. New wells in this area produce on average two million to five million cubic feet per day.
